PATTERN: Crochet Death Star Pattern
Transform your living room couch into an imperial space port with this planet-destroying death star pillow! This terrifying imperial weapon has been recreated as an adorable, yet awe-inspiring and fully operational crochet pillow. This crochet pattern makes a sphere of approx. 24-27 inches in circumference after stuffing. This will depend on your tension and how much stuffing you use.
To make this crochet pillow you will need 1 skein of acrylic yarn, such as Bernat Super Value. In the pictured death star pillow I used about 5-6 oz of polyfil stuffing but this will depend on how firm or soft you want your sphere to be.
This crochet project is great for experienced crocheters and takes about six to ten hours to make.
The pattern for this crochet death star is written in English and uses US crochet terminology.
The following stitches are used:
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
inc – increase (2sc in same stitch)
inc3 – 3sc increase (3sc in same stitch)
dec – decrease (sc2tog)
dec3 – 3sc decrease (sc3tog)
BLO – back loop only
dc – double crochet
sl st – slip stitch
