Science the Candy Corn Rat Crochet Pattern
Little Sister Sue and I are working our way through every episode of Adventure Time, starting from the very beginning, and we're currently at season three. The episode that inspired this pattern is called From Bad To Worse where there is a candy zombie outbreak and Finn and Jake must figure out the zombie formula before it's too late.
Princess Bubblegum tries to tell them science will do the work but is only able to say (unintelligibly), "Science is my rat," before she is turned into a candy zombie.
After much confusion, it is discovered that Princess Bubblegum was referring to Science the candy corn rat. Yep, I giggled quite a bit at this point. I love candy corn, especially now that Halloween is coming up so I felt it was absolutely necessary to crochet Science the candy corn rat:
And for doing such a great job turning everyone back to normal, Science gets a Royal Medal for Heroic Bravery! Our hero(ine?)!!

To make the Royal Medal for Heroic Bravery you will need:
Two pieces of gold felt, approx. 2 inches x 2 inches
Gold thread
Strip of blue yarn
Hot glue gun
I used a quick fade pen to sketch a thumbs up drawing on the square piece of felt, then used the thread to embroider and with the hot glue gun joined the second piece of felt to the back of the embroidered piece making sure to trap the knotted blue yarn in between.
