Blewit Crochet Mushroom Applique Pattern + Video

Hello again my crochet friends! Remember the world of mushrooms we’ve been delving? You can check out the Boletus applique here and the Fly agaric applique here. Well, the mycelium network of creativity continues to grow, and today, we're unveiling another captivating member of our crochet mushroom family - the Blewit mushroom applique.

The Blewit, also known as the "blue-leg" or "clitocybe nuda," is a whimsical mushroom that has captured my crochet-loving heart. With its distinctive lilac hue and delicate shape, it's a treasure to behold. Did you know that these fungi are prized for their unique flavor and are known to add a touch of enchantment to gourmet dishes? In the world of culinary arts, they're like a dash of fairy dust, transforming ordinary recipes into extraordinary feasts.

Crafted with the same love and passion that went into the Boletus applique, this Blewit mushroom comes to life using the soft and pliable Hobbii Friends Mercerized Cotton yarn. The drape and feel of this yarn transform our crochet into wearable art that's as comfortable as it is beautiful.

But here's the exciting part: the Blewit mushroom applique isn't meant to stand alone. It's a piece of a much grander puzzle - the Shroom Shrug. I’ll be sharing more about this mushroom-themed shrug in a future post. But now, on to the mushroom applique pattern!
