2014 Pops de Milk Christmas Tree!

I have added the final touch to the tree – a fabric chain garland. And now, after much crafting, humming and hawing over patterns and ideas, putting up and taking down ornaments, scavenging the apartment for things to use as ornaments, buying a real tree (my first!) I present…

crochet Christmas baubles

crochet Christmas cookies from Squirrel Picnic

Christmas tree applique from Repeat Crafter Me

-random amigurumi I had (see if you can spot them!)

-a few ornaments I did keep from previous years

-an assortment of miscellaneous objects (ornament mailed to us by a local hospital, a couple of cell phone charms, crochet Christmas star coasters)

-and to finish it all off a fabric chain garland

Just like when you made paper chains as a kid, you can make a unique and colourful tree garland with fabric. To make the garland you will need strips of fabric and a hot glue gun or you can sew if you prefer. This is great if you have lots of scrap fabric you’re trying to use up. 2014 Pops de Milk Christmas Tree! - Pops de Milk8 2014 Pops de Milk Christmas Tree! - Pops de Milk9 2014 Pops de Milk Christmas Tree! - Pops de Milk10 2014 Pops de Milk Christmas Tree! - Pops de Milk11 2014 Pops de Milk Christmas Tree! - Pops de Milk12

  1. Such a fun tree! I only just learned to crochet, and made a crochet snowflake for the tree (from Simply Crochet magazine)… one day I imagine mine will become more like this one though! x
